Sometimes, my wife asks me why I am wasting my time for things like this.

Very nice work.
Tell her you are doing important research work,
as you have become a scientist like us. [;)]

Yes, tell her you are trying to figure out why a UFO that looks like a hat can do weird things.[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Columbo: Many thanks. [:I][:I][:I] And many thanks from my wife.
The suspect: Why Lieutenant?

Columbo: Now, because of you, my wife knows why I prefer wasting time on a keyboard rather than doing more useful things at home.
The suspect: Are you ashamed of this?

Columbo: No, because I'm addicted to Haptek characters. And to my wife too.
The suspect: I've never seen this episode.

I like that UFO. Where can I get one like that???[:p]

So simple in production, but really excellent. Keep up the good work!!

(simple in appearance, but I have no idea how you made it, probably way too complicated for me)[:0]

P.S. Columbo was one of my favorite detective shows. He could figure anything out, "uh, one more thing.........."

Thanks tedathome and hi markofkane!

- The hat (and the background) is coming from the site of Haptek. Perhaps they don't know what it can do. [;)]

- The howto is public. You just have to edit the source. And all the needed files are in your IE cache. It's not a movie but a live TV show! Too short (because too long to realize), I admit. And all the special effects are in the code!

In my 1st experiment on two Haptek characters, I used two torso ones. Here, in the 2nd one, a fullbody and a hat! If you take a look to the totally illogic way I use SetName and SetPerson, you might think I'm silly. But it works, now they (nearly) move as I want.

If my dear prehistoric computer could do good video captures, maybe I should join your videomakers gang. Sorry for the files you've to load (and reload) before seeing a 30 sec film.

- I'm a Columbo fan too. Sometimes I look at DVD's of him, with the original soundtrack and English subtitles. Columbo gives me the illusion I could understand all that he says. With Jack Bauer, I really need French subtitles. [:D]
