Oh, how'd you find out, Jack?? Yeah, I think in Australia, and other places, the Jack is the clap. The original version, was worded differently (the live version had the words changed, as you know)

Many years ago when I first heard that song I thought it was about Poker - I remember thinking for a while that she wouldn't get very far with just a Jack...she'd need at least a pair...[]
