Tests Q & A
« on: July 31, 2005, 11:36:52 am »
Hi All
I have a small test coming up and was wondering if it is possible to make a program for BelvinHal that would let her test me.  I am a teacher and this would be a great way for my kids to do small tests eg: hal asks question, kevin answers hal says yes or no. If no give correct answer and at the end tell me the score.
I know you programming guys are really busy, but I think this could be quite a nice thing if its not already done:)  Or am I dreaming about future things to come:)... he he he
All the best
kevin

BevinHAL? Are you talking about the LINUX version of HAL?

If so, use KQuiz... comes with KDE.

bitblaster,

There is no Linux version of HAL at this time.
One might be able to get it to run under WINE
but no one has reported being able to do so.

In the world of AI it's the thought that counts!

Yes, there is a version of HAL for Linux...but it is not UltraHAL... Linux has another variation of HAL...and is open source, and runs text-based only.

I think that's kevin's name for his "Hal" persona,BelvinHal.

The HAL version that runs under LINUX is Jason Hutchens MEGAHAL, which is not affiliated with Zabaware.

Just to keep the record straight.<G>

My Apologies, BelvinHal is the name of my Ultrahal bot . I have 2 One's screenName is BelvinHal and the other is Kendyvr. I want to use my pc to conduct and aid myself and later my pupils with small tests.
Thanks and best regards to all, Kevin
