There are multiple users on my family computer, and I don't want ultrahal being installed on the other user's desktop's. How do I make it to where it is just installed in my desktop?

What system are you using?
If it is XP then goto the HAL directory in 'Program Files' and right click on 'HALAsst' then select 'Run As' and then select the user accounts that you wish to allow to use HAL.

Some one wrote a plug in a year or so ago that allowed multiple users. I believe each time Hal was booted he ask the  name of the current user.
