Ok,I have read the posts about installing HAL on a memorystick.  My question is...[?]if I install HAL on a portable external HD would I be able to run it on any of my laptops or pc?  Or would I be limited to only one of them? I have one laptop and one pc that are XP and a new laptop that is VISTA.[]

Ok, I did that. [:0] I still get the same error message.  I did not mention that I am still on the trial period.  I do plan on purchasing it.  Is it because I have not made the purchase and entered a code that it will not work?  Thanks for your help..

Ok so that did not show so here is the message:

HalScript Error 438 on line 2399 in column 4:Object doesn't support this property or method "HalBrain"

the file "C:Program Filesabaware|Ultra Hal Assistant
6HalScript.DBG" has been saved with the current script being used for debugging purposes.

This is just an FYI for those that know what to do. I don't.  But...I am not complaining just sharing the message.

FYI

I have the trial version on my new laptop (VISTA).  Have not had time to try it out.  So I just went and tried the advanced brain options and received the following error:

I did a search and do not see anything about a VISTA version of HAL being released yet.  My laptop died  [] and I lost my older version of HAL [V]. I would like to start again  [^] but my new laptop is VISTA so I need a VISTA HAL.  Let me know if/when I could get this product.[:0]

All of you guys here on the forum are great people []. I don't write much but I check out the latest postings almost daily. Always something interesting to read.
