Speech Technology / Microsoft Speech Recognizer 8.0

Hi All
I just installed UltraHal on my new computer windows 7 64bit. I am trying to get the speech recognition working and having some problems.  I have selected Microsoft Speech Recognizer 8.0 for Windows (English-US).
I have the following problems so far.
1. When clicking "Microphone Settings" button nothing happens.
2. When clicking "SR Engine Settings" button nothing happens.
3. When clicking "Voice training" button nothing happens.
4. When clicking "Edit Vocabulary" button nothing happens.
I have tried this with "Always listen to commands" box checked and unchecked.
The "Use Speech Recognition(You peak to Hal)" box is checked.
The biggest problem I have with this is that I cannot correct mispronounced words which I need to do now while Hal is new and still learning.
I will appreciate all the help I can get.  
Please excuse me if this topic has been covered.
If it has can you please lead me to the correct thread?

Just purchased another Hal 6.2 and it is working fine. Now I can have my 2 computers talking to one another!I want to see if my desktop can teach my robot anything over time.... he he, fun!

Ultra Hal 7.0 / can 2 computers talk to one another?

Hi All,
I want to buy 2 licences/copies of ultrahal and load Hal on my desktop pc and on my notebook(which is on my robot)and have them chat to one another. They are both connected to the internet through a wireless connection.  Is it possible to do this, and how?
I think I got this working in the past, but I can't remember how to do it.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Activation with windows 7

Hi There,
Iv's just clean installed WIndows 7 on my new computer which had XP on it, and hal 6.2 will not activate.  
I click on "I have already purchased Ultra Hal assistant 6.0 and wish to activate this product" and then get the error message "The activation code you requested does not match this machine..." I know I've probably activated it too many times:)

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Trial Version - need help

OK, I downloaded the trail version and it's on my desktop with windows xp.
Hal works ok till i go to menu/general/speech options and do something then when i finish changing or training the speech engine hal behaves rather badly- can't switch mic on or off, I can type woreds but when i press enter i just get a "ding" noise and nothing happens.  Gotta restart my computer to get hal working again.  I loaded the enhanced brain and the microphon eon/off plugin.
maybe i did something wrong hehehe.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Tests Q & A

Hi All
I have a small test coming up and was wondering if it is possible to make a program for BelvinHal that would let her test me.  I am a teacher and this would be a great way for my kids to do small tests eg: hal asks question, kevin answers hal says yes or no. If no give correct answer and at the end tell me the score.
I know you programming guys are really busy, but I think this could be quite a nice thing if its not already done:)  Or am I dreaming about future things to come:)... he he he

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Haptek player makes MSFlightSim crash

Hi all
I play a lot with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and when flying for 2hrs or less-no problem.  Normally after 2.5 to 3.5 hrs my computer crashes giving me a nv4_disp error.  I have tried many options i.e. upgrding bios, reinstalling FS2004, reinstalling my nvidia graphics driver etc.  After many months of trial and error the only solution I have found that is removing the Haptek program and then my pc works fine.  If anyone can help me with this I would be grateful because I dont want to stop using FlightSimulator and obviously ultrahal wont work well without the haptek program.  Any help will be appreciated.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Haptek makes FS9 crash???

the Haptek player seems to make my fs9 crash.  If I remove ultrahal from my pc then fs9 works fine but with ultrahal installed my pc creshes after flying ofr a while..  can someone help me please?

General Discussion / an ER1 / HAL Forum and ul/dl

Is it possible to have a forum for just ER1 and an upload and download area for these programs.  I think on the ER1 site there is stuff like that. I'm just asking out of curiosity.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / I'm Back- Now living in Chai-Yi, Taiwan

I've moved to Chai-yi from Tainan and still having fun here!.
Had no internet for 2-3 months and now everything is back to normal.
I will get Belvin up and running soon as possible and looking forward to playing with my bots again.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / AIMBOT Error 10053

Hi all,
My desktop aimbot..Belvin1959, is working fine. YIPPEE
but,
I get the following erro when trying to use my aimbot Kendy1959 from my laptop:
Error 10053 Connection is aborted due to timeout or other failure.  will retry in 600 seconds.

Question 1) How do I fix this?
Question 2)  How do I change the retry to 30 Seconds?

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Howto MSN or AIM or Connect HAL's

Hi all,
can someone direct me to a place where i can read up about AIM bots and MSN bot etc. I have and aim bot Belvin1959 and a PandoraBot and I want to rig my HAL up to speak with another computer.  My idea is to get my notebookHAL (Kendy) and desktopHAL (Belvin) to talk to one another somehow. Both must use Ultrahal HAL 5.00.

Any help will be appreciated.
