I run a chat server and would like to integrate UltraHal as a bot. I noticed the AIM bot but can I do this for my webchat server?  I don't need TTS just text would be great.

Please excuse my ignorance as I am new to the growing UltraHal community.  My question is "Does Hal initiate conversation or does it simply a responder?  Please elaborate especially if there is coding involved.

Do you have to purchase UltraHal Assistant again to upgrade from 4.5 to 5.0?
