Title: knowing the seasons and months

i think it would be cool if hal had an area about the seasons which if you referred to something about october your hal might say something that has to do with october ( which could have some written in statements and a write in your own statement area ) like if you said something about october hal might say in october it usually starts turning off colder and rains quite a bit or yeah in october the leaves start changing colors , etc. and have something for every month that way . just an idea i thought of !! don't know what anyone else thinks of it but i thought it would add another more human personal touch to hal . [:D][8D] p.s. if in the write in you also wanted to put in a pre written pasted horascope characteristic of people for each month you could .[:)]

There is a plugin already out which I've been using for quite awhile, it works pretty well.  I'll get the name of it soon so you can do a search.

A couple of years ago Onthecuttingedge wrote some scripts that could do that. He even had some to recognize all of the popular hollidays amoung other things. Theses were all for Hal 5 but I would be willing to think they could be made to work on Hal 6.

Being that most of the Hal5 stuff is long gone, you might just search for OCE's name and try to find the old stuff that way.

The plugin was called Knowledge of Time V.2 and was written
by Raybe and assisted by OTCE.

I just read this thread and would like to correct ART. The plugin was written by ramccoid and OTCE helped fine tune it. I just gave some input on the function. I would love to have contributed a plugin as that but I was just giving them some feed back.
