Hi daricus.

which software platform is it?

With paperwork.

kind of vague, can you offer a bit more information about the paperwork?

what are we making an offer for?

could you please post pictures of all the products in one posted picture here in the forum, it may help everyone to see what is actually for sale?

also, how old are the batteries? batteries even if never used still only have a half life of maybe 5 years sitting on the shelf doing nothing, they begin to dissipate especially if they are smart batteries.

please explain what the expansion pack consist of?

what make and model are the cameras?

I agree in the posting being somewhat vague but I believe darticus is selling his ER-1 robot (minus laptop) with the aforementioned batteries, cameras and arm. It's a wheel driven framework that houses a laptop and has facial recognition among other things.

The ERSP is the Evolution Robotics Software Package for developers and requires Windows XP-Pro or Windows 2000.

darticus obviously has a considerable sum tied up in this offering.

For more info one can visit: www.evolution.com

You are correct Art. It is exactly like mine minus the ERSP software. They wanted to much money for the extra software package
I bought mine or maybe it was only offered to schools.
It is a nice package but it is a little flimsey if you ask me. I am looking to rebuild mine with sheet metal or at least some strong aluminum sheets.
The ER1 comes with a controller box that you plug into your laptop via USB slot and the software has the best face recognition software available to the public. It also has limited voice recognition. You can pre program up to 250 small commands to the robot and then activate those commands by voice command. Of course one of those commands can link to another series of 250 more commands etc.
It is a fun and interesting was to get into robotics. When I bought mine it cost over $250.00 not counting all the add ons that I purchased later on.
Evolution Robotics is not longer seling the robot but I don't know if they still have parts for it or not.

Hi Art.

It may be possible to use a different battery for your ER1

From what i have read, the ER1 uses a 12volt 5.4 amp/hour battery that's enclosed within a metal power module.

well, here is a battery that has very close specifications as the ER1 needs and is rechargeable.

http://ebatteriestogo.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=EBTG&Product_Code=D5741-AB

and cheaper in price, it is 12volt 5.0amp/hour, 0.4 amps wont make much difference but just a few minutes of run time.

price: $15.95 plus shipping and handling.

building a conversion jack for the battery to plug into ER1 wouldn't be hard, all parts at your local RadioShack.

Hi Gerry
You are correct. I think a great many motorcydle batteries should work just as easy as the one supplied, in fact I have been thinking about using an even bigger battery along with a converter so I could also plug in my laptop. Just looking for longer operating times than what you can now get.

Hi Bill.

I think if you wanted good run time you might consider a 12v deep cycle rechargeable Battery. but a battery of this nature will weigh about 66 pounds but would have about 20 amp hours run time. and range about $100 to $200.
