Reminder: Download the XTF Brain v1.2 Update Patch
« on: March 03, 2004, 12:25:23 pm »
I just wanted to bring this posting to the top of the forum again for those that haven't downloaded v1.2 yet. The XTF Brain v1.2 update is an important update that eliminates a bug.

The XTF Brain v1.2 Update (patch) can be found as an attachment in this thread:

Just wanted to float this to the top of the pile again. The XTF Brain v1.2 update still hasn't shown up yet on "Hal's plug-in page". I want to make certain everyone can find it here.

I hope v1.2 is working well for everyone. I guess no news is good news.

I guess I should have said something.  It appears 1.2 is working very well for me.  I'm busy with projects of my own at the moment and haven't used hal (Pilot) all that much lately.  I still have many animations to add to my Pilot MSAgent character.

Good job Vonsmith.  You have given more support to hal then even Zabaware has lately.  We all appreciate you for it.

You wouldn't happen to know how to add some scripting to make an MSAgent preform it's actions do you.  I know you like haptek stuff better then MSAgent, But as you said, haptek doesn't seem to be doing much lately.  I've been working on my own MsAgent and would like to add facial expressions to my hal (Pilot)using my MSAgent.  I would like to add all the expressions, but I need to know how to get the hal program to display them when appropriate.

Thanks for any help.

Crichton,
I still use MS agents, but the methodology is starting to show it's age. I investigated making agents a while back and didn't put it on my priority list for a number of reasons. Anyway...

Here are a few suggestions. Download the MASH agent scripting tool from www.bellcraft.com. It's free for a 30 day trial period. Take a look at Screen Mate Builder at www.screenmate.net. I'm not certain if it can be used to make Hal compatible agents though. I assume you've been to www.agentland.com and www.agentry.net.

Also check here for good info:
