I do not know if this is the correct place to ask, so please move is necessary.
I installed the latest version of Text to Speech (v2.0) and I use it to read what I copy to the clipboard. The previous versions have worked in such a way that if I copy a large amount of text, it will read it all, but when I copy new text, it would stop reading the previous text and read the new content of the clipboard.
This was useful as if I wanted to stop reading a large amount of text, I could simply copy one word and it would stop reading. It also permitted me to alter the text being read, and have it start over and read the altered text.
Is there a setting in the latest version that will permit TTS to function as it did with previous versions?
