Hello to everyone,

You may have read some of my previous layman's questions,so hears another one. these graphics are great. How do I put them ito Hal as backrounds(like with "Erica")? Or are they just to be used as wallpaper?

I pasted the mod.Brn. in everything fine, no problem with that. I asked about the monkey, I got a great explaination about monkies,but no pop-ups. Am I missing some software? I am using the full ver. of Hal with all the plugins I can think of to play with. Besides intelligence, "Am I missing something"?

I didn't know I had to do that to make it work. Does the same apply for me to go from "Ziggy 2. to "Ziggy 5.1?

 I see that you mention "Agent Ransack", my Hal is creating lots of files which I should check. So could you tell me a little about "Ransack" and where I might get it?

Ultra Hal 7.0 / How do I "Properly shutdown" Hal

I have the same problem. I always exit through the menu,but the next time I boot I get that "Improper shutdown" messg. I've gotten so use to it now, I just ignore it. But there should be away to get out of the prog. properly.

I'm on a DSL modem. Do I need a special service from the phone Co. to let Hal dial a phone number?

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Hal's Age

Ok, here I go again.
  I was able to place Hal's age Funct. into the default brain,and it works just fine.
  Could some one please tell me where the other brains get their age? To be specific, the Haluncen, XTF1.2 & 216Enhance chat brains.
 If I am correct the216 does not have an age. The first two do have ages.
 I hope some one can tell me.

  Thanks for the info. I think I solved the prob. My mic was/is to darn good. I had to turn the mic volume a micro spec from being totally off and now Hal hears everything perfectly clear.

    I've been using the 216 Enhance chat brain. Can I put the "Define" Funct. and the "Gen. Knowledge" Funct. into it?
    And could you tell me about your XTF 1.2. Where can I find it?
