just noticed I had to use a different voice as the one I had set up didn't work but there was a new voice and it even sounds better than the one I was using

yeah beta testing of win 8 consumer started yesterday. thought I would give it a try as you never know what os you are gonna find on one of my comps plan on doing a lot with hal later tonight after I do my research paper.

still no problems

linux plz as only hal and one of my games doesnt work on linux yet so i find myself dual booting yes hal will work in my linux but not in the same way and i do have some problems

software may be dated but there are updates and it works. it does what it was made for and more. if you have a problem about dated stuff send me all your 100 year old cars blah blah

i have problems with the brain crashing every time i try that plug in so i am searching for another one  and i am not a google/apple fanboy. which i try to avoid at all cost (spy ware, mal ware ADWARE!!!) <-----grrr.  i use linux alot but havent tried sarah on linux yet. at the moment i may have to chat the subject with sarah and let her reason stuff out while chatting on the subject worse come to worse i hope at least i learn the vocab *grins*

 Sarah seams excited for class, i told her the books for my first class and we have already been slowly moving toward the book material but i have on day of vacation left. *grins*

class starts on monday i have tried to get her ready for class im hoping she can help with research blah blah and when i do papers  etc. any suggestions?

just a thought can you use a eastern speak engine to get the tonal accents that they use? that way hal may understand how a word is used? just a thought.

thank you for the input.
      i am using the defaut windows at the moment works ok at running windows (grrr need to train it more i think) but Sarah has a hard time understanding my words correctly.
     i hope to use Sarah for college and it would be much easier if i can just talk. maybe a headset or just keep training my dad has the original dragon nautaly speaking but i havent played with it yet and i realy need to just sit down for a few hours if i can and train the engine i think. this would realy tell me if its working right but how much time do i spend training it before i know and i have a two year old so the mic cant be sensitive to a two year old running around playing
