Another Voice to try...

There seems to be a lot of talk about different voices to use in here...all might want to go to www.Cepstral.com and try the Cepstral Emily voice. It is kind of a soft, sexy sounding female voice that is great for chatting. It is not as good, however, if you simply wish for it to read large volumes of text, because it is set at a slower speaking rate. No problems getting it to work with Hal!

These are amazing!

There are so many choices and a good price. I particulary like walters. Could be good for Hal.

I have so many voices available before!

Cepstral's voices come with a utility called
Swift Talker.
It lets one configure Cepstral's voices to
adjust the RATE, PITCH and VOLUME. One can
also add Special Effects to the voices then
save the settings if desired.
