tristan.... the free version of hal will also let you make changes to it.
first find the links in this forum to =vonsmiths= XTF 1.2 brain and addons. You will see where i reposted them for you and other new members towards the top the the strings in the lobby. download it and its other parts as instructed into your hal, you will then have a great brain that will stay on topic pretty well,, from there it will learn what you teach it. just talk to it alot. think of it as training a 4 year old child about the worlds that has a college level vocabulary. [8D]
the only real difference between the free and pay versions of Hal are voice recongnition(free cannot do it) and easily plugging in many charcters.( but there are ways to add them to free version)
also if you scan the forums you will see that there are ways to plug-in other characters even in the demo (free) version..
I and others are working on 3d male and female Haptek full body and torso Characters, there are also a few good 3d cartoon and animal types.
