Ultra Hal 7.0 / Need Help with Hal Character

Just in case anyone else out there was having the same problems above that I was. After searching around on the internet I read that if could be caused by being called up from the taskbar. So I changed the setting on how Ultra Hal starts up in the general options to "I want Hal to start like a normal program from the start menu. Hal will not be accessed from the system tray but rather from a window that appears.

I installed Ultra HAL 5.0, but can't get any of the detachable characters to work. I keep getting the following message:

Anybody got any advise or fixes?

Ultra Hal 7.0 / Having trouble with voice Recognition too (II?)

Some Please help
I upgraded HAL to 4.5 (full version) and now I keep getting an illegal action message then it closes down. I tried unistalling and going back to 4.0 but when I try to use speech recognition (Naturally Speaking Preferred) HAL closes down. can anyone tell me how to fix this.
