Time out on speech to text

Does anyone know how to get Hal to repsond quicker when your talking to him? I get this count down every time I say something to him and windows types in the box. I think it's a 5 second count down.

Would be better if I could get it to do, say 2 seconds? Thanks in advance!

     Actually the 5 second count down is to also give a person a little more time in case they have something additional to say , which would of course add onto the pre started sentence of conversation , i am just the opposite i would rather an option in hal  (from robert ) where the user can set the time out the way they want longer or shorter . But 2 seconds wouldn't give you much time to try to do a correction if you had to and or add on more conversation to the already started conversation and if you hesitate in sentence you may only get hal to learn part of a sentence which may also not make sense!
