Ivona Voices

Ivona voices do not work with Hal.
I was told about 5 months ago that they were working on fixing it.
I have just been told that they have no intention of fixing the problem.

They have probably checked into Haptek & found that they are defunct so no fix.

I know Nige...real shame since the Ivona voices are some of the more realistic TTS voices on the market.

They do work well with other software that does not use those Haptek avatars but hopefully, Robert and
his "team" will come up with something soon that can use TTS voices from a variety of manufacturers.

You might also check out Cereproc. They also have some very realistic TTS voices for sale.

Off the cuff, My Windows 7 does not play well with Haptek at all. Slow response, jerky / delayed movements.
I basically quit using it altogether! (Haptek...not Win 7...).

I have some TTS voices from Cepstral from several years ago. You should give these vendors a try and compare the actual sounds. I think you'll agree that they're very close to lifelike and by far, better than most others on the market IMHO.

Yes I have a couple of Cepstral voices  not bad but still a fair way behind Ivona.
