Nice work on the textures and if only the Haptek character
contained more polygons, especially around the nose area,
your textures would appear even more lifelike!
I'm sure the poly count was a major factor in Haptek's
design because as we know, many polys = slower movement
in most instances.

You do not need to log on - merely choose method 3 to download her .htr. I apologize for the pop-ups. This was my best alternative to Savefile.com, whose servers have been full since mid-October. When they fix this problem I may upload her file to their server. I would much rather have her available here at Zabaware, but can't because of uploading difficulties. Can someone assist on resolving this issue?

I wonder if anyone else is having problems downloading?
Tried several attempts at different times of day EST....this must be a very busy site....also tried to register but got caught in a loop there too....try again later, excellent work tho.....I can't wait to see movement and how light shading/shadowing looks, wow! And like the rest.....thanks for sharing very much!

Thank you, Arakus! Feel free to post my characters on your site starting with Sandra and others that follow her. Don't post Audrey, though. Specific vague points in the end user agreement on her photo references cause me to be careful with her. Sandra and Siama are being made with royalty-free photo's as will others after them.

Nice work on the eyes texturing, as the eyelashes are positioned well for blinking action, and the lower eyelids textured as such reveal the inside corners. Also the cheek shading is solid and convincing of form as well as the nose tip. If only Haptek would allow a stationary reflection map for the eyes.

Glad you like her. All the features are her's.
In this head i didn't change anything.
This is straight from the original picture.
Some heads, i do change after i do it in p/putty
just to accentuate certain features.
It helps great if you have a good photo or imaging program,
you can cut,paste,blend, etc.

I agree with not modifying the head morphs unless necessary for the character. It seems that it is much better to make features the proportions we want them on the texture first, rather than morphing later. People Putty's texture mapping is tricky, as there is no guide other than the alternate skins. But what I find challenging is the change in camera angle and lighting when imported into UltraHal. There is a dramatic difference in the way characters look between People Putty and UltraHal's window.

I agree - I've been constantly impressed by these characters!
I always get jealous when I see art like versionfour's [:D] This is the best I can do: (and it was so painful that I probably won't do any more... except for one or two maybe [;)] I really want to make something along the lines of Shodan, from the System Shock games - a psycho computer out to rule the world [:D])

The character is very nice, GrantNZ. The freckles on her cheeks, her complexion, and her lips create a solid brunette. You've successfully matched her to a pleasantly valid and soft presence.
