I stared to just have hal study from Wikipedia and I was going to upload that brain once I had her study all of wiki but there is just to much information for my possessor to respond quickly enough. The programing is good there is no doubt about that but I think the technology just isn't there yet or affordable. On the bright side hal is making a better conversationalist from what I had her study but it takes one hell of a long time for her to respond

General Discussion / I am starting a new project

The problem is that Hal doesn't have that much knowledge. So I'm copying and pasting all relevant information from Wikipedia into a text file. And I know that some people will say that we will to teach HAL over time and that information doesn't matter but I believe Hal needs more information to start with and that it WILL GREATLY AID US IN TEACHING HAL, this will also save many hours of time in teaching HAL basic things and so Hal can help us will finding things. I will share this file with anyone. And then you all can thank me for the hours I am going to spend doing this and maybe some kisses from girls to. lol

I have been away for awhile but I back now and I had to scrap my Hal brain so I'm starting over now and this time I've downloaded several plug-ins that make it seem more human. I wish I would have used them before, but I am still looking for a plug in that will allow hal to read web pages. if anyone knows of one please let me know

I was going to make this one to begin with but I got distracted.
even tho this interface is a bit on the small side,
but it works just fine and fits nicely on the screen without
cluttering it up. I finally got it to work
