Ultra Hal 7.0 / Knowledge text files

Me again
  The little bugger starting to respond, still pretty dumb but its a challenge. So  now that I am commited or will be soon if i spend to much time with HAL. the question is:
  Are there any ready made text files (knowledge file) written to feed HAL. I saw that another program AIAgent(is that a dirty word in here) has such files.
  Secondly if any one has experience with these files what format would i use. Meaning short factual statements, or longer round the subject things,
  Worms are icky.
  or
  Worms are slimy little creatures that I find Icky.
   ( I will teach him better things I promise, difference between entopy and enthalpy, first he has to remember his name )

Also tried copy and paste straight out of the online manual, several different entries here is an example.

user: what is five times ten plus six?
Hal: You always have something interesting happening, don't you.

I am not getting this at all read a lot of the posts in here but my hal seems brain dead. Tried the following.

Me:  My son Scotts birthday is 7/6/04
Hal: ok I will mark that on the callender scotts birthday July 6 2004
Me: when is scotts birthday?
Hal:The advanced version of Hal has an additional 20 different animated characters to choose from. That's exactly what I heard.
Me: When is Scotts Birthday?
Hal:You are rather persistent about this.
Me: scotts birthday is on what date?
Hal: One never knows when serendipity might strike.


at this point I was looking for the uninstal ICon LOL...
so do I have a sick brain, it obviously will not be of any help in day to day life helping me remember things, as a toy it seems frustrating and well of no use. Should i reload it? or is it supposed to be this <insert bad word here>?

Hi
  I cant even get HAL to tell me the time. Tried "tell time", "what time is it?", "current time is?" and many others, he just answrs with some inane answer.
   Also how can I get him to start a program do you have to type the complete string as in E:/photography/adobe/photoshop 7/photoshop 7.exe , this definetly isnt saving any time!!!, its cute but havent seen it do anything yet, need help!!
