Which is best brain??

Hi all,

First off I would just like to say that I think this is a very fascinating forum you have going here and after reading many posts I decided to pluck up the courage and join in….

My question is which is the best brain to use with HAL the reason I ask is there seems to be many different variants to choose, I know I could download them all and flit from one brain to another but I would rather just select one (the best) and run with that.

Also if you select different brains does HAL lose what knowledge he has gained with the previous brain file?  


I hope these are not considered a stupid questions …

Hi snoop.
It really depends on what people learn your bot.
Many people don't use proper sentences so Hal
picks this stuff up, It's like a bad influence.
If you or other people spend the time to train your
Hal child as I say, Then your new bot will become like the people
he/she talks to, Of course you could train your bot and turn off all
learning ability so Hal only uses sentences he was taught by you
and the original sentence functions.

If you go on a quest to find a good brain you'll discover that every
learning type brain is constantly being modified and sometimes changes its original character speech functions.
Learning bots are variable.
none learning bots are static.

is it possible to download hal brains/files that people have all ready trained to a high level of understanding/self awarness?? to save time, (for the impatent types like myself!).

Certainly.
But it's even more fun learning how to program your bot and teach it.
Just back up your originals and experiment.
