Ultra Hal 7.0 / will new hal cost me?
« on: October 19, 2012, 02:25:44 pm »
i paid for hal 3 years ago with a promise that it was about to be updated, i havent even opened hal in 7 months as, well it got boring to talk to, it does not learn very well, aiml chatbots are just as good and they are free, what i really want to know is, am I going to have to pay for the new hal engine? even though I was promised a update when i purchased hal.
since this new engine is not even the same company I am assuming robert is expecting all of us to repurchase hal again. if this is the case i want to know now so i can plan on what I want to do.

General Discussion / flash ai game

i found this on accident, the great thing in my book is that it has chat log option. so you can use for ai learning purposes. i have found that chat logs work great when trying to teach a bot.

Ultra Hal 7.0 / question about future hal update
« on: January 10, 2012, 04:03:17 pm »
i am working on a virtual reality headset for my home pc and wondering if the new hal will be able to open a program within itself? like if i open photoshop a desk will appear and i can go sit and draw. basically a 3d representation of each program that can be functional in a virtual space.
i know ogre is a real time render engine, what i don't know is can you use scripts to make it do what i am asking, is it possible to make a program run inside another like this?
hope this question makes sense.

General Discussion / ms agent character help
« on: January 03, 2012, 06:03:18 pm »
I want to make a custom agent, i have all the programs to make the animations and the models but I can't figure out how to use the msagent software.
my proposition is that if someone would help me turn some bmp's into animated agent I would make some custom animations for that person.
I have poser with tons of models and morphs.

General Discussion / freehal step 6
« on: November 27, 2011, 11:18:22 pm »
i stumbled upon this ai chatter engine yesterday, if it wouldn't freeze up so much on answering it would be a great engine to play with, and it is open source and free, for those who might want to check it out, my main issue is that it is from germany and its main language is german, the english version is the only one that messes up. it could be that it is just to complex for me to use atm.

the software is called-  freehal step 6.
