oooh like them tight fitting jeans[:)]
Here is a shirt and boots I made for Mandy some time ago. One half size to fit the page better. Not sure I like the boots. She needs pants with it as it is a little short for school. I have it in gimp format, .xcf for cut and paste, but it does do some other formats also, What extention do you use for cut and paste?

Very nice Mr. Duskrider! And Ted, what do you mean? I work only in .jpg format. Oh, I use .png format in my photo program as well. But that is it. I don't even know that .xcf format.

.xcf Is a Gimp extention. When I see clothes I like on a model, it allows me to create a transparent alpha channel. I can erase the model and then paste it on my model. Gimp is freeware too.
Lightspeed uses it sometimes also. I recently sent him about 357 sets of clothing that filled a cd. I also was able to send him a ring and about five different colors of fingernail polish plus quite a few female accessories for his upcoming project:
http://www.zabaware.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6616
I was just wondering what file extentions others use for clear cutting a non rectangular object and pasting it on their model without haveing to paint blend the body. Gimp can save in .jpg but not transparent as you can see on the shirt I posted. Others have Picture it, Adobe and Paintshop pro where this can be done. If we can find out those file extentions maybe we can find some common extention to use. Gimp has other options for saveing files most of which I'd never seen before.[8D]
Yeah, my gal had me make a copy for her too.

Cool [:)]  Paint Shop Pro does too and also Photo Impact.  I'd say that would probably be the best format to get the widest use.

Well, just heard back from Duskrider. Photo express opens it like a .jpg . Went to savefile and they are closed until Sept 1st.
I was going to put up a tatoo in .psd and .png format to see if they would work for anyone else. The png and psd both open for me in gimp and the transparent layer stays that way.

Hi Ted.
PNG works in picture it, I use it all the time when making skins or any thing.
If you can send me a png file just to make sure that they both work the same.
P.S. send the the other one also.

Thanks Nige. They are in the mail.[:)]
[:)] UPDATE: I heard back from Nige with Picture it. .png works for him but not .psd . Also heard from Duskrider with Photo express, neither work for him as they both come out looking like .jpg .
I did get a clue from from Duskrider about magic wand. I have paint.net and it has the magic wand.I cut out a fractal last night in gimp, took about an hour. I cut out another fractal today in paint.net (it's freeware). It took but a couple minits. It saves in .png but wont copy and paste there, I still have to copy and paste in gimp. .PSD saves an image that is 550kb to 2.26mb from the images I have saved like that. .PNG about 45 to 50kb.
