Ultra Hal 7.0 / Why doesn't Hal speak slow?

Hi, I am using  free Hal for learning English. I am trying to set up the read a document or hal speak in slow speed, but never work. Can you tell me how I can do that. Also I have other questions, they are:

1) Is Hal free update for everything with the purchase of Hal?

2) Is Hal unlimited use?

3) Is Hal available learn with typing or has another ways to learn?

I have my info in files.And I have another question how I can delete features of Hal like a brain, agents etc that I don't want to use it?
