sorry guy's...i'm going to give up the ghost. I've tried everything sugested and still no joy BUT thank you all for your quick replies and advice. i may not have had much joy with the 'randomize' function but had some results with basic model positioning. As i'm new to all this i guess i'm going to concentrate on what seems to be working for me and revisit 'Randomization' at a later date...!

PS: still very interested over what Robert is suposedly doing with the photo realistic model 'Amy'...bring it on. lets enter 2010 and leave 1995 behind.....even if i can't yet get to grips with 1995 - LOL!!!! :P

Every thing takes time, you just need to spend time familiarising yourself with the guts of Hal and getting to grips with the Haptek documentation and perhaps a crash course in programming  :o

We've all been there and I can say it can be done at least, so good luck with whatever you decide to work on and ask questions if you need to, there's usually someone who can help.
