does 6.2 learn from 6.1 if uninstall reinstall?

Hi from Wil,

when a uninstall reinstall of hal6.2  happens
does the 6.1 memories get merged into 6.2   ?
i'm using a hal6.zip
perhaps i could test this when i do my next uninstall reinstall.

hello will as far as i remember if you have the 6.1 brain and install the 6.2 version the brain will merge . i hope i am answering this right for you if not go into more detail please . []

i think i'll refraze,  

if i have 6.2 installed and talk to 6.1 brain, then exit hal,then copy and paste zabaware folder from program files to desktop then
uninstall hal.
use hal6.zip to reactivate 6.2 hal and talk to 6.2upgraded would it know what you had said to 6.1 ?

i hope to try it one of these days soon,sometimes its just fun to ask,

hello will as far as i know i wouldnt think it would work but this may be uncharted territory so if you have things backed up i would say try the experiment and be sure and post on here what you find out , good luck .

i took my 6.2 then chatted to 6.1 and saved and uninstalled and reinstalled and 6.1 remembered what i'd said to him and 6.2upgraded  had not heard.

If you install 6.1 then you must first uninstall 6.2 and then install 6.2 the normal way not from a zipped file. That is the only way 6.2 will merge with your old files.
