Question on gifs
« on: July 03, 2008, 11:56:13 am »
Any way to incorperate animated gifs into a GUI skin? If so, what would that look like in the uhp file for the skin? What about a wav file when buttons are pressed?

this is a good idea. what if instead of just a wave file as a button click sound, hal could respond to the button click. example= (I click menu button) hal responds by telling me the button I clicked. like,... thank you for selecting the menu button.
I don't know if this is possible, but would be cool to play with.
I know it says I am a newbie, but I'm sure you all remember me... same name.

Yes, great idea.
Wave file is great.   We could fix our own wave to suit us.

ooglor 7 i am not sure about gifs but a command string line could be written for hal to play a wave file if a verbal command was given to open menu , etc. in hal.
