[8]I have ultra hal assistant 5.0.....When i have hal get a phone number I have put in his memory he asks if he should dial this person and I say yes.....Immediately a popup tells me windows cannot find "dialer.exe.....Once I close this popup he says he will dial this person......But nothing happens.........I have made the internet connection setting in options.......I have also uninstalled/reinstalled hal.....Any Ideas?.....Thanks

Hi Steven,

If you're using XP, make sure you have the file:
dialer.exe in your C:/Program Files/Windows NT
directory.

If you're using 98 then do a search to see if
you can locate the file in/on your system.

Let us know what you find.

[V]Thankyou Art......I have WindowsXP....256 Ram.......40GB HD...I went to program files....There is about 35+ files for zabaware...But NO dialer.exe.....Any Ideas?....thanks

Make sure to check the Windows NT directory / folder,
NOT the Zabaware one. dialer.exe should be found in
the Windows NT folder.

You can probably retrieve the dialer.exe file from your
XP CD.

Let me know what you find.
