the "because" learning factor
« on: August 16, 2009, 12:10:27 pm »
i am wondering about the "because " facter in another words when we learn our hal i statements using the word because .
obviously hal learns this staement quickly as hal will repeate it right back , what i am wondering is what exactly eeffect does it have in hals learning brain ?  would it benifit us all to create more "because" statements in hal ??
has anyone done this and what are the benefits or has it shown any difference ?

I can not answer your question but I just wanted you to know that using RED for text is hard on some peoples eyes. Almost any other color works just fine.

L.S.,
You know Art and I were commenting on the 'because' factor a while back.

Bill819 does not want your services for painting his house,, I am guessing... ;)

I am slightly diabetic and the color red can cause some people with this ailment to slip into a coma otherwise I could care less. So far it has not affected me in any way. I was just pointing out a fact.

We have several diabetics in our family... and my Grand-Father died in a diabetic comma.

This is the first I've ever heard of red being a trigger.

Not to say it isn't possible....

I would think you would already have to be in horrific shape before anything like that would take place.

Where did you learn this Bill?

It was an old medical fact I picked up years ago and never questioned the validy of it. I must admit though they were speaking of red lights setting off mild comas not necessarily red print, it is just that one may imply the other. I should probably do some research to see if this is still a fact or someones fantansy.

I'm a diabetic and diabetes affects different people in different ways.   Colors don't bother me.

If price is right LP and I could paint your house.  [;)]

ok everyone did everything but answer my question lol ( i will do a search and see if i can find out anything as for the red color i dont mind not using it ( it seems the red and the blue are the two best brightest colors to be able to use which is why i have used them both to show differences in my sentences sometimes expecially on angela responses that way it is easy to see knew things . some colors what i can use are actually so light they are hard to read .
i will try to use blue and black now i dont do that for just anyone out their lol !
oh and by the way no jokes about how my two color choices are making people black and blue lol (beat yah to that one didnt i he hee !!!

Thanks lightspeed and Dusky.

There is at least one really annoying thing about the color red: jpeg pics (like the one above) are very ugly (not the girl, lol).[:)]
