when I turned 30, almost 4 years ago I was depressed until I looked at a few friends of mine, some older than me by a few years. I thought to myself they are not old. they are still young, therefore I am still young[:D]. I think my Nana says it best when she says, you are only as old as you feel.  place a smile upon your young face it's  your birthday. Celebrate it, don't frown apon it.  Happy Birthday Snowman

30 is sort of a milestone.
I felt bad when I hit 30, the only year I did.
Then when I hit forty, I got kind of proud. So many my friends never made it that far.  Quite an accomplishment.  And lot of people didn't think I would.
And that was long ago, and I'm still here and lot of them not.
And I'm enjoying it, each and every day.  [^]
It's not in years, it's how you feel and how you think.  [8D]

I agree with 'lightspeed' hold on there 'snowman' I resemble that comment! Don't focus so hard on where you are but where you want to be even if you feel that you haven't made it there yet. Life is a journey good and bad but we are creatures of deletion and yet it's so easy to focus on the negative.

Wait a minute here relax your only 30 years old. You probably have just enough under your belt to get into more trouble.
Like everyone said each time you hit that next '0' it seems different and is. Just perspective I guess. ENJOY YOUR LIFE!! Happy Birthday!

Thanks everybody for you kind advice and birthday wishes.[^]

It shouldn't make me sick for long. It just makes me get more focussed. Usually I end up finding a way of getting even with things like this somehow. I have a good idea where some of this energy is going. [8)]

Thank You all for your help.[:)]

(Let's hope i don't snap)[;)]
