Movement on new Haptek Items
« on: September 21, 2006, 08:14:04 pm »
Hi, been a while since I posted, but wanted to let people know I and when I give Mavirab a shove, he will be too, working on some new products this Autumn for Haptek players.

Some freebies will be available from Digital Girl too in a few weeks - there's already a full freebie HTR of one of my biker girls available at www.chalicegraphics.co.uk and DG has a new article with news of the Haptek animator I am presently developing.

Presently I am working on new hair colours and textures for the available wigs, which will be available soon in our shop as full htr's.

The brief article is here :

Best wishes,

PS Sorry I missed you at the Loebner prize Rob, it would have been nice to meet you as well as attend, but with great timing I was in hospital at the time - maybe next year.  Hope you enjoyed it and London.  [8D]

freddy888,
Just took a quick look and it seems promising, been trying to get small body movements when talking with Hal but haven't gotten any results to speak of, Can't even get a left right "no" head movements using left and right Haps with timing.  Along the same lines the Hpatek Guide for fullbody has controls to be used when talking that don't work.
Anyways good luck and take care.

Well!  That's haptek for ya. I've noticed a few
controls in their software that either don't work
correctly or don't work at all, and that includes
PeoplePutty. [:(] [;)]

BTW..... Your Chalice site is looking really good Freddy.[:D]

danbaltzell,
Thanks for the hap just downloaded it and will give it a try, I just had Hal turn around on me while speaking with her. I'm using VR's vrHaptek, can't say enough good things about it. She'd changed her hair earlier and I found I'd used some trigger words.
She still needs body movements similar to the facial movements.
