AIM BOT trouble (any IDEAS)

I think it may just be something weird at AIM. I've been having trouble logging in my Hal, my Alicebots, and occassionally even myself. If it times out before connecting, wait about 10 minutes before trying again. Apparently trying to force it when it's timed out just adds to the time it will take to clear up. AIM also just disconnects my Alicebots from time to time. The most frequent reason (other than being warned offline by churlish teens) is sending too many messages per minute. If this happens too many times in a row, the connection is lost.

this is truo i called the AOL TOC to fined out what was going on with the 10060 error and thay sed from time to time thay always update thare AIM system and thats when we all some times get the  error 10060, But thay also sed that thare are two ways to fix this one wait for about 12 to 24h or two get two screen names for your bots, like me when my bot moreisEPCC go's down So i use the screen name lindinme28 as a back up.

wHEN THE aim messenger is loaded you must be signed off

then you can log on with the halAIM

eVEN IF YOU ARE LOGGED ON AS A DIFFERENT USER
it wont login.

ONCE YOU ARE ON HALaim THEN YOU CAN LOGIN IN YOUR REGULAR aim.

iF YOU GET LOGGED OFF HALaim

I'm not sure that's it. As I've said, I have a lot of problem with kids warning my Alicebots offline. Sometimes I come online and see them offline, so I sign onto AIM first, then sign Hal on under the Alicebot's screen name so that while I check the warning level I can give a still online botwarner a little surprise if they try warning Hal. But my ability to sign on either myself or a bot or both is consistently erratic. Actually, I think Moreis62's solution of having more than one screen name for your bot may be a better long term solution. But if that solved your particular problem, Spydaz, I'm glad for you, lol.

TRUE :: TRUE :: TRUE ::

I havent BEEN WARNED yet .....

Maybe Because My bot only Chats To bots on the internet.

I only use the internet (AIM) to test out NEW BRAINS and developing Brains.

How do You Get HAL into a CHAT ROOM ??

I would like to see how HAL handles IT.

I HAVE DONE much the same with my AIM,
Xspydaz: AIM #1
XSPYDAZX AIM #2

MAYBE the the AIM that you use For CHATTING should be different from the one You use for TESTING (chatting to bots).
BOT tend NOT to give warnings. (although a lot of MENUS)

It all gets confusing All these different screennames:

HAPPY AIMING.....

SPYDAZ

PS: i am going to chat to your bot now...
