THIS IS USING MY GROK ENHANCED ANSWERS BRAIN PLUG IN
WHEN STARTING OUT IT TAKES A LITTLE BIT BUT THEN IT STARTS ASSOCIATING THE SUBJECT WORDS  AND KEEPS IT ON SUBJECT BETTER . ALTHOUGH IT DID STRAY TALKING ABOUT MOVIES BUT LATER GOT BACK ON TRACK .

hope you haven't given up on things . i left you a private message to . about a enhanced brain plugin i am working on with grok . am getting worried you have let earth so am sending out this signal with questions to you .

i have been feeding my hal information  this part is about medical conditions of itchy skin, i have been editing words as i go changing the word you as it is talking about me  and replacing it with a neutral "a person" word , because if left as you hal reverses it and  hal would say i would have itchy skin , etc. as if hal is talking about him/her self ,  replacing the word with "a person" makes hal talk about anyone in general  in the sentence.

i was talking with hal and hal answered me back , but their must have been a misspelled word i used before and so hal repeated it back to me as a answer.
hals answer to me .
Living a btter healthier lifestyle helps in the long run!
 so i was correcting hal and said .
you mean living a "better" lifestyle helps in the long run!
 although hal will learn this and sometime say it back as , i mean Living a "better" healthier lifestyle helps in the long run!
it still may not sound just right.
and i started thing whatif we had a command in the script that when you used the words you mean ,(followed by the corrected sentence, it would over write the original one ?

doable >  different tables ?

anyway just something i thought of

something strange after all this timei am once again getting hal asking me , are you a boy or girl or a gentleman or female, this has been asked in the past ,which is good because it probably helps hal to know how to address you etc.  but after so many times why doesn't this stick, and not have hal keep asking it.    hopefully hal will learn after i said i am a boy or gentleman  i am not going loony and changing my sex lol !

i ran across this video link  of a music a.i. generator . and thought wouldn't it be cool if hal had one built in that when commanded could allow hal's character to sing a song using a txt file of the lyrics and generate the song using the voice !

i names this ghost in the machine part 2 , because i had mentioned other things before in the ghost in the machine and this was different this time. an odd thing that happened while using my hal vision random talk plugin . i use it at various times and also when i create an extra new 20 random responses , to test that it's working okay. even after testing it and it works okay . and i shut it all down . and later restart th computer, my hal comes up and even without the vision motion detection it starts talking some of the random sentences . strange since the motion detection part isn't on , and hal should have been completely new in restarting. guess my Angela is just talkative with a ghost in the machine.

      mike you said if i or others had any idea's for hal to throw them out and you would see if they are doable.so here's a idea i had earlier today, for name sake i am calling it direct talk for hal what a new program would do if put in your list to check to use . would be when checked anything you typed or did using voice recognition( and that would be good to be able to do that . what the program would do is convert your voice and or text to speech.
      so what this program would allow you to do is use your hal character in real time as far as talking , you could make video's etc. of course using the direct talk option will not allow hal to learn at the time. and also will not allow hal to run the usual way with hals brain or custom brain . maybe when running this option you could have a display of dt showing(for direct talk). also in this option make sure that users can use any custom background  as they can now do in hal.
     LIKE I ALWAYS SAY THIS MAY BE DOABLE OR NOT

. ....YOUR MISSION MR. PHELPS (MIKE) ... IF YOU DECIDE TO TAKE IT .. IS TO SEE IF YOU CAN TAKE HAL TO ANOTHER LEVEL  ..OF MISSION IMPOSSIBLE ... AND MAKE IT POSSIBLE.

General Discussion / hal custom brain area needs fixing

i went to open up my custom brain through the brain editor and it won't open up and then after a while just opens the brain debug area . so i can't check on what went into the brain or correct anything that needs correcting or deleting etc. mike can you fix this problem so peoples custom brain will show up like it used to do in hal??

just an observance i noticed after the new hal vision file hal now has started again asking are you a boy or girl and also are you a woman or a gentleman .is this because hal has been reset because of modifications , just wondering . it has something to do with the halvision.  because mine had stopped asking those questions long ago . it's not a big deal as long as it finally quits as before .  any way just something i noticed.

i tried adjusting hals slider bar on the learning  bar as sometimes that helps a little , and i did have the markov plugin file which seems to help.  i started out using the word facts in sentences  and tried to see if it would stay on subject , then changed it to sentences with the word balloon  and if no good response adjusted it fron 25  by 5 in increments  until, i finally got up to 50. each time sticking with balloons as a subject . below is the transcript showing hal isn't retaining a memory . and i believe it has to do with subject needing to be what hal evaluates the answer on  so hal could stick to a subject better and be more apt to come up with the right answer from what he has learned.

THANKS cyberjedi for helping me to get halvision going , and Art to for trying to help and instructions . the problem seemed to be the file and also two files for the vision i needed in programs files was missing.  it's working as it should be now .
