Hal cancells all future appointments

Ultra Hal 5.00 cancells all my future appointments then advises "I have removed appointment i hope you were not late,  anyone got a cure please Lawrie

I too have a small problem with appointments. I have a friends birthday comming up on 11/19/03 and Hal's last reminder said the birthday was one week away and  nothing since. Normally Hal would keep reminding me right up to the last minute.

I just noticed where you are from. Why don't you teach hal to speak Austrialian? It is somewhat easy, just goto the Hello scripts and change some of hte good morning to G'day mate. There are lots to things like that that you can do. Also if you have version 5.0, you can use the English-like accent to add even more realizm. Fun to try in any case.

Yes Bill I have tried "Getcha ruddy act together Hal, me bloody appointments are a shambles" , but it hasn't made much dif.[:D]

There still seem to be some issues in Hal's appointment book when running on a non US computer where the date format is Day-Month-Year instead of Month-Day-Year. The only solution at this point would be to change the "Short Date" setting under "Regional Settings" in your control panel to follow Month-Day-Year.

Good onya Bill819! I think you're on to something. Sounds like Hal has got a roaring case of the wog or just kangaroos loose in the top paddock. Hal's no dill, but he's got a Buckley's chance of gettin the dates spot on. Improving Hal is bloody hard yakka. Well that's all this conchy from Woop Woop, USA has to say about it.
