hal expansion pack install problem

     i deactivated my hal on my desktop and installed it on my laptop i installed hal back on my pc  with the 6.2 version from the trial version to full version but now when i try to install the expansion pack it gives an error saying :ultra hal 6x is not installed and it needs to be installed first and can be downloaded from zabbaware.com 
   Robert or anyone why is it doing this doesn't hal have this fixed so it can install with the newest version ? other wise what do i have to do deactivate again
and then install 6.1 then install the expansion character  pack ??
is their a way around this mess ?

My personal thanks to ROBERT , thanks for the e mail and instructions , that did the trick , it was because my paid version was out of date and the downloaded newer version of the ex[pansion pack works with the newer version of hal .
