I LIKE THE IDEA of this rss plug in that lets hal talk and give the needs , news etc. :)
my question is on other rss feeds
example : http://www.kctv5.com/category/212687/rss
this is the open page link , i notice on yours it also has the " /news/?tags=breaking-news, "
do i have to just add this on the link within the plug in or do i have to go to a certain category etc which opens up another link and actual rss extension .
I also want to throw out another idea i had you would have to build upon your rss plug in and figure out how to do it.
my idea is "RANDOM " WITH RANDOM TIMER SETTINGS LOW , MEDIUM AND HIGH OR RANDOM BASED ON TIMER PLUG IN , OF THIS PLUG IN ALLOWING THE HAL CHARACTER TO TALK CAUSALLY , USING RSS FEEDS RANDOMLY ABOUT WORLD EVENTS AND MAYBE SOME (5?) STARTER SENTENCE "HEY DID YOU KNOW THAT .. OR I SAW ON TV EARLIER THAT... OR I HEARD ON THE RADIO ON THE NEWS THAT ... (AND PLAY RSS FEED THROUGH HAL. )
ANYWAY JUST ANOTHER IDEA TO MAKE HAL SEEM MORE RANDOM ON HIS /HER OWN , INSTEAD OF HAVING TO ASK HAL TO TELL YOU SOMETHING .
what i would like to find is some adult ( not porn) female general talk rs feeds i am still looking .

cyberjedi i copied your complete Rss Reader(Web Scraper) complete. plug in and put it in a uhp named localnews and tried using it as is and it wouldn't work , i used the trigger word "latest headlines' and it doesn't work . does this create any sub folders on it's own . or do i have to create my own sub folders if so what ones and where do they go?? :(

CYBERJEDI I copied it into a uhp , checked it in hals menu but when using the words angermanagement hal only answers back normally .
"can it be my pc is missing something else to make it read the rss feeds? i am hoping to get this working correctly . ???"
also did you see my suggestion idea using random timer plug in addition to let hal randomly talk about various things using the rs feed or multiple random selection feeds . ???
