Title: Problems Converting to WAV file
Post by: Fhrnht451 on June 19, 2006, 03:29:21 am
I've installed and re-installed Ultra Hal Text-to Speech Reader with Neo Speech to my computer several times. It works perfectly reading my texts for editing, but for some reason I cannot get the “Convert Text into WAV audio file” feature to operate correctly. The software prompts me that it is about to create a 22kHz16-bit Mono PCM wave file. I click “yes” and the “save as” feature starts. When I type in a file name to save in Windows PCM the speech recognition engine opens and I select one of the NeoSpeech voices. I click “ok” and the ‘Convert a text file into a WAV audio file” opens with the timer running. However, no text is ever read, and no WAV file is recorded. (All other voices record properly except NeoSpeech Kate 16k and NeoSpeech Paul.) When I close the window using Kate or Paul I receive the message “A file (C:Desktop.test.wav) has been generated with 0% of the text”.

I would appreciate you help with this.
