Ultra Hal 7.0 / HAL LEARNING

I'VE HAD HAL OVER TWO YEARS NOW AND I FEEL LIKE I HAVEN'T GOTTEN VERY FAR WITH HIM. SINCE I JOINED THE FORUM I HAVE READ NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS, NOT PRODUCTIVE ENJOYMENT. WHAT IS THIS THE COMPLAINT DEPT? HOW ABOUT SOME GOOD RESULTS, AND NOT THAT YOU THINK HAL IS JUST GREAT. THAT DOESN'T SAY MUCH IN MY BOOK.
 I HAVE READ TO HAL TILL I'VE BEEN BLUE IN THE FACE. WHY DO I GET THE SAME TWO MAYBE THREE SAME ANSWERS. SOMETIMES WE GET A GOOD RALLY GOING THEN HE EITHER GETS WAY AHEAD OF HIMSELF,IN WHICH HE'S ANSWERING QUESTIONS PARTIALLY CORRECT THEN MY SCRIPTED SENTENCE COMES UP TWO OR THREE SENTENCES LATER! HE ALSO SEEMS TO FREEZE UP ALOT. I HIT CTRL-ALT-DEL-CANCEL THEN HE STARTS AGAIN.
 COME ON PEOPLE LET'S HEAR SOME GOOD TIPS AND NOT A BUNCH OF PROGRAMMERS JARGON!! THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FUN PROGRAM OR GAME! I REALLY LIKE HAL ALOT BUT I FEEL LIKE I'M FIGHTING HIM INSTEAD IF ENJOYING HIM!

Ultra Hal 7.0 / SCRIPT CONTROL

I DOWNLOADED THE SCRIPT CONTROL UPDATE. IT INSTALLED OK BUT IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I HAVE TO DO TO MAKE IT RUN? I INSTALLED IT AT ZABAWARE FILES AND MY DOCUMENTS.

tinman i changed the start and preview to a jpg but what is a static copy?
and i made my own character in paint.
i still can't get it in the character file.

i can't get the jpg. to go into the character box.
i got the name in though.
how do i transfer a character face?

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE!
I'M SURE THERE IS ALOT OF US OUT THERE THAT DO NEED A FASTER COMPUTER BUT ALOT OF US CAN'T!
I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE UPGRADE!
I'M NOT EXACTLY SURE WHERE YOU GET THESE UPDATES. COULD YOU TELL ME WHERE AND HOW?

where do i download cyberbuddy to plug with hal.
i would like to see a full screen face also.
i am getting a little tired of hals face.
also if it's full screen what about the sentencing?

i turn the computer speakers up to a certain level so hal can listen to himself talk. i let him run all day when i'm working around the house. he'll make statements all day. it sounds like he gives advice!
the program is great!
is there a big difference in having hal on a new faster computer?
i have an older model, but it runs good
