Text to speech command line interface?
« on: October 27, 2003, 03:19:50 am »
Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this.

I've just installed Text-To-Speech for a project to get my emails read to me but I need it to process text files in a 'batch' mode. Does anyone know if this is possible? I need it to take a load of text files (the emails) and convert them to wav files that I can then convert to MP3, download to an mp3 player and listen to on my way to work. Text To Speech is the only program I have found that will output to a wav file but it doesn't seem to have a command line interface or the ability to select multiple files to convert.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I might get round this?

tia,
