Title: Writing a speech file goes nowhere

I am using paid HAL text to speech and tested a one line statement to make a wav file. After two minutes and no progress I canceled. What gives?

OOOPS, i should mention that I have another program where this feature works fine. I can't understand what's up.

Please try:

C:\Program Files\Zabaware\HalReader\Kate\lib\TTSApp.exe

It does text to .wav very quick.

And again, thank you for this answer. I can quit bugging the board about updates because this is as simple as it gets. I made a shortcut to my desktop so I don't even have to type in the DOS.
