do a you mean virtual xp mode ?
or do you mean you trouble shot compatibility and it did it in xp service pack 3 or 2 ? ( i tried the xp compatibility like this but it didn't help me ) . i have used people putty in the past on this same pc .
to anyone else : I wonder if installing a new hard drive may be the problem ? i just thought about that , would that make the system id different ? or does people putty id from the mother board ?
