Speech Technology / hooking up video and sound on Vista
« on: September 20, 2009, 12:03:44 pm »
for about 3 months I have been trying my hardest to get my usb mic and camera to be recognized by hal.

I have had no success.

I have been able to download other programs and my "Ball"mic-camera connect easy as pie.

I confussed by the information that has been available the unload hal ,load 3.5 version of sdk ,then reinstall hal diffentlly doesn.t seem to work or all the other info that I have compiled into a tutor. but no success. I was really hoping to become an active member of helping to develope hal which I started working on when it first came out.

If all my labor has not been for nothing I beleave that you do not have a way for usb mikes and cameras to be recognized. I have loaded
AVS sound and video products and they load right up.
Well I have to wait for Milo or are you going to put some serious work  into helping members who use Vista to be able to hook up without
being slammed with the notice "The wizard could not load"
