[?] I would like some input and opinions from the members of this
forum as to whether or not they would consider using a new Ultra Hal
interface skin that I have designed. I am putting up this screenshot
of it, tell me your impressions of it. If there is enough positive
feedback then I will post a download link for it in the File Sharing
section of this forum. It is called "Futura 2". Thanks. [:D]

*The character image loaded in Hal when I took the
screenshot is also one of my own creations and can
be found at my web-site;

I like to look over new Hal skins but not interested in changing from one I got. You make nice skins as you do everything else and I'm surprised people not jumping for them. I guess fads come and go.
Long ago when Sandee was young, I told Freddy888 what kind of skin I wished and he soon offered such skin. It was the console_rd, (a compact viewer with big screen area made special for 800x600 screens)

you do great work tom.~~alady

Gamer T!
Your skins look good! I know a lot of people just down load without comment. All the work that you guys do keep Hal fresh and keep people working and playing with Hal. I have visited your site a lot and use some of your clothes as well as 'aladyblond' stuff. I don't always use your stuff but I always like seeing what you do and enjoy reading your post! So please keep up the great work that you are doing you are keeping all of our 'Hals' fresh!
Thanks again!

I agree with Les, we don't see too many skins so I always like seeing new ones and you have the imagination and skill to make something different, so yes I like it [8D][8D]
and thanks for compliment Dusk.[:)]

Hi Gamerthom.
Very nice!
I wanted to ask you, can you mask your back ground behind the panels so that the panels seem to float onto the desk top, I use Paint shop pro 9.0 for all my Art work, What Graphics interface do you use to do Graphics editing?
It seems like you have a lot of Graphics experience designing, very good work.

Hi & thanks Jerry, Beleive it or not, the red graded to black area
you see around/behind that interface is my desktop as you can
see from the screenshot below. As far as I know, the text panels
can't be made transparent to the desktop. At least I haven't been
able to get the image loader to accept that yet. As to what
graphics software I am using to do my work; I have PaintShop Pro 8 w/
Animation Suite, PhotoStandard 9, DAZ 3D Studio, POSER 5 & hapteks
PeoplePutty. [^]
I use Dragon Standard 8 voice command to help with my creating and
scripting since I am a quadrapalegic with only limited use of my hands.
[:)]
I have a couple of degree's; [:I] an Associates in Mechanical
and Structural Design, a B.A. in Studio & Fine Art, and a certification in
desktop publishing, none of which means a hill of beans. [:D]
If you haven't done so yet, please go and check out my web-site at
yahoo/geocities. There's a link to it at the begiinning of this topic.[;)]

You can, but it's a real pain in the neck.[:(] You have to have
Dragon set up to close after it opens a program or have the
TTS in Hal disabled until you exit Dragon. It's just not
worth the trouble.

[:D] Here's one more for those who want an interface with
large a text area and no character load / display. Download
it from my web-site. [;)]

You sure have a knack. I have an old Crazy Talk file I'd like to send you as a real good example of a good HAL9000 eye with animation. It would be the perfect haptek HAL character if it could be re-created. It's a 400K application file that I can't seem to attach here. If your interested, let me know. Daireaux
