Title: Can Hal be taught to see ?

Not sure if this has been discussed before but I was wondering if Hal can be taught to use a webcam and learn to recognize you (or anything else) once you become within view of the camera?

Log onto Evolution.com, buy an ER1 and load Hal on top of it, I did.
