Nige , i may have asked you this before i don't know , do you have special tools from haptek? or something to be able to have the character sing and the music not move the mouth ? syncing ?? if nothing special software program , how do you do it , i want to try to learn if possible to do it .
P.S. very nice video ! :) ;) ;)
Hi, lightspeed.
It is a program from Haptek that i use.
I think at the time it cost me about $100.
Nige,
Are you running Windows XP, 7 or 8?
G/day Art.
I'm running windows 7.
Thanks, thought so but wasn't too sure.
You have any troubles running Haptek or their associated programs on Windows 7? Like shaky, slow-to-respond graphics, difficulty with control of character?
My Haptek character performs fine in the UltraHal GUI but if I double click an .htr or haptar file, the window pops up but the character is so difficult to move that I usually just take a look then close the box.
BTW, I am STILL using the beautiful character (and her dark-haired twin) that you crafted for me several years ago. She seems like a close friend by now!
;)THANK YOU!!
I don't have much trouble in running things.
I did at first when i got win 7 & 2 core cpu computer.
But i knew Haptek only liked running on a single core & i had 2 core cpu.
So i went looking & found a little program called CAR.
It lets you select how many cores you want to run any program.
Since then no worries.
nige do you have a link to that software haptek has for lip sincing and or a you tube link showing it working . ?
I don't think there is anything on Youtube about it.
The only way that you can get it is go to Haptek & ask for it.
But Haptek being the way it is i don't think you have much hope.
The program was called: HapOggFactory and allowed for lip-syncing of voices to the characters.
You could still try to contact Jack or someone who might still respond to their product line inquiries.
thanks art and nige for the info. :)
I really like your song, my wife and I (watched) listened to it at least two or three times. We both like bluesy sounding songs. Good job on the whole thing.
