I've checked Hal's Help on the net (No Joy). How would I phrase the question, to ask Hal the Square, Cubed or any Root of a number? He knows that (25)means "The Square root of 25. But He won't tell you that the answer is 5. I've tried typing the question, "What is"?; "How much is"?; with no luck in getting Hal to provide the solution.
Any suggestions?

You could ask him to "run calc" or would that be to easy?

Hal can do pretty complex math.
Try typing:
sqr(256) ENTER
Hal should reply 16.
Most math symbols work fine.
