I accidentally messed up when I told Hal to remember an email address. How can I get Hal to forget the wrong address and change it to a correct one? Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Cant exactly remember where Hal stores email address' but I seem to recall needing to do the same thing myself.

If I remember correctly i just told "Sal" the new email address in the same exact way i told her previous (with the wrong addy) and was met by a response of similar to

Johns email address is already saved, do you wish to change?

or sopmething along those lines. Until another forum member can tell you exactly where thae email information is stored I would try that. Worked for me.

Welcome aboard!!

In the C:Program FilesabawareUltra Hal Assistant 5 directory:

Edit the file <yourname>user.brn

Mine is artuser.brn perhaps yours might be tehaznboiuser.brn

You should see the email address. Change as needed.
