a nice future thing for hal would be "opening wmv sound clips " or has anyone ever made a program for opening a wmv sound file like this ? "if not " i think this would be something good for hal users " this would be a good future program to have in a new version of hal . in another words if you could type "play 1 " or "say play one "hal would open a wmv file and play that sound clip "which would be good if the hal hapteck could lip sinc to the sound !!" this depending on how long of a clip it can play would be cool because hal could open a song and sing , hal could say simple pre recorded phrases etc. [:)][8D]

Sounds good, but WMV is a video format. Maybe you mean WMA??[:D][:D][:D][:D]

I thought Jerry (onthecuttingedge2005) or perhaps Bill DeWitt made a plugin similar to your referenced question.
Sorry if it was someone else....
Try a search here for wmv, winamp, music, etc.

actually mark i said wmv but you are correct that is the wrong format " as a man from india once said " you not be knowing your formates !!" lol !! (meaning me, i was saying a wrong format , i'm still learning here folks !!lol !!) [:)]

Mo problem, I got a couple songs on WMV format before. No picture, just sound.[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

at any rate do think this would be a great adittion to a newer version of hal . i can see some cool things this could be used for from a simple (multi laugh track that is tripped by certain words ) to many other things !![:)][8D]hopefully robert wil read this and see some of the benefits of adding this to a future version of hal down the road ![8D]
