I would be willing to give it a shot.
For best face detail I would need 1 strait shot 1 profile and 1 3/4 view. the better the pics the better the skin. if you have a prefrance on clothes.let me know. With the full body meshes I have body is not too configurable but the face (with detail) will make the differance. Let me know or e-mail me the pics and i'll get  started.[:)]

Mr. Alikorn,  Glad to see that someone is picking up some of
the slack around here in the skins and graphics department. [^]
I need a break, got too many projects in the works already. [:D] [;)]

Thanks for the offer Kelly. [:D] But what I'm working on right
now doesn't involve skins or anything for Hal. I'm actually
involved in studying all the different aspects of character
mesh construction and on the fly animations for use in web
applications. I'm trying to learn the design and construction
of polygonal meshes using Shade 8 and Blender for eventual
inclusion of materials and textures in Poser and finally
they will be tested using an on-the-fly rendering engine
that is being designed by someone else for a new cross
platform A.I. software application. [;)]

Sounds like a great turn,
Not too far off of my own ventures it sounds.
I've spent alot of time latly in Poser and 3dmax.Trying to learn meshes my self. To tell the truth I havent even played with hal for many months. Its the haptek 3d that intrest me. I am dissapointed in its limitations and keep trying ways to "circumvent" to make it do what I want. Ultimatly it is 3d it's self I want to master. the possibilities are limitless. But not just for 3d itsself but making it interactive that facinates me.
I like your site. currently putting one togather one of my own.
The offer is there if anything comes up [8D]
Hope your fuits, bare greatly for you.

Hey Kelly, I've been looking for my 3dmax cd for months because I wanted to try exporting it into a format acceptable for haptek, get rid of those boots on the full figure and get a more realistic figure (or not).  I've been waiting for a window to open to download the free Poser 5 at content paradise, but the servers are crashing for the 300M download.  I was hoping it could output a format that might work also.  The Haptek guide talks about acceptable formats MAYA, 3dmax, Photoshop, but not about Poser so I'm not sure if it'll work, but there may be promise for the 3d studio output.  Which might be too cool because you all are awesome at your artwork skills.   Here's the directory I found about it in the guide from Haptek:

C:Program FilesHaptekHaptekGuide4MakinContentadvancedHapDeltaSetMaker

How about using the 3d architecture output with a laser to make a working three dimensional holographic image then we could make hal dance and have a light show and really boogie down.[:D]

Hey Dan,

3dmax7 is what Im working in (mostly) and the new body would be great. I recently aquired the acc convertor from haptek. however i am having problems with 3dmax on startup. Once that is settled i hope to work on some accessories, that may atleast hide the boots for now. Poser, 3dmax, bryce, blender and DAz stuido can all swap files. I bounce a project from one to the other to use the diffrent functions, however if exported through max with the convertor i dont see why it wont work.

I found a "poser" vimese file in people putty that doesnt seem to be active. it converts the names of joints,ect.. from poser to hap, in it it has listed all the parts for full body. I supose one could use that table on hap startup to write scripts for a poser created model. Im just not shure how to load poser to hap. But Ill look and see what I come up with.

Simple, for now you can't. Due to the spam problem which has been
occurring. But, if you want me to give your request a try, you can

Sorry been away soooo looooonnnnnnng hehe.

The only way to lose the boots and use in haptek is by using the haptek tools. These are expoensive though here at digitalgirl..yes you got it...we have them [:D]

Between digital girl and our new commercial site chalice graphics we will be making new fullbods in the near future.

Please be patient though...we have so many projects on the go and the tools are not the easiest things in the world to understand and get to use.

When we have more news be sure that either myself or Freddy will post here any info
